Smile Train Logo Design, Social Media, Illustration, Apparel, and Print

Smile Train is an international non-profit organization that partners with local healthcare workers to provide free cleft treatments 365 days a year on five continents. Designing for them meant I learned how to quickly apply consistent branding to a vast variety of projects. I worked at their New York headquarters as a Graphic Design Intern, and was responsible for everything from advertising banners, to informative presentations, to social media graphics, apparel, and much more. The most memorable moment of my internship was when I won a friendly in-house design competition, and received the honor of designing the logo for Smile Train’s cycling endurance fundraising program, RIDE for Smile Train, which is still in use today. A close second was illustrating their Patient Passport booklet cover, and taking Smile Train’s playful, kid-friendly branding to fresh new heights.
